SEE YA THEN!
Growing up, I always looked up to my grandpa as a father since mine was never around. Throughout the years, my grandfather’s illness of heart/lung disease has gotten increasing worse and worse. I have done everything in my power to help out financially and everything in between to give back to him because he has given me the world.
On September 28th, we will be having Lana Lana’s last show with our best friends, but also raising money to help him out with his treatments. It would honestly mean the world to me/my roommates/the bands if you could all come out, have a great time, party, and donate to the cause. My grandfather has always supported what we do as bands/show goers, and I feel as if it’s time for me to give back just a little more.
Lana Lana (LAST SHOW EVER)
1 MORE BAND TBA
We’ll be doing a minimum donation of $5 for this show, and if you could donate a few more bucks as well that would be AMAZING.
We’ll also have a keg for this and it’ll be $2 a cup for beer.
Please park in the street, bring your own beverages if you would like, and email firstname.lastname@example.org for the address!
Show will start at 7 PM!
This will be our last show for good. We can’t thank you guys enough for all the support you’ve given us. We hope to see all of you there/all our friends!
To all my followers,
On September 28th my band Lana Lana will be playing our last show ever.
More importantly, this will be a benefit show for my grandfather.
My grandfather has been the one I respect and love the most in my life, and times for him are super rough. I have done everything I can to help out, and now it’s time to give back a little bit more.
He has ALWAYS supported touring bands, musicians, and everything about the DIY scene. He’s probably the most down to earth person I know, and I know that if he was able to make this show he would love to see all the kids come out and have a good time.
I hope that some of you will be at this show, because it means a lot to me. And to have it at my place with all my friends playing is going to make it even more special.
SEE YA ON THE 28TH!
First off thank you for making the third year of Bramble Jam the best year of the festival yet.
I am thrilled that my old and new friends got see our favorite bands, and spend time with some of our favorite people.
That being said I personally have some loose ends that need to be tied to make sure Bramble Jam IV will be the best it can be.
I regret that I incorporated Unbuckled Records in my endeavors for this year’s festival and I apologize to Topshelf Records, Kat Kat Records, the bands who played whom didn’t receive their payment yet, and anyone who missed a bands set/songs because our volunteers and I merely did not have immediate access to the roll call list at the beginning of the shows which Unbuckled Records refused to provide us with before hand, thus keeping kids outside of the show until further notice.
Bramble Jam IV will be presented by The Most Booking Agency, other new sponsors, and it will be on another level of professionalism for labels and bands alike.
As a fan, an active musician and a booking agent I embraced my first hand experience to ensure that everyone who came to this show from sound check, to doors, and to when doors closed would experience a best case scenario.
When I realized the illegitimacy of Unbuckled Records began to show my DIY ethics kicked in and I paid, fed and housed bands who were left out to dry.
Unbuckled Records made 10 inch vinyl comps to make it timeless, and if you didn’t get The Bramble Jam III comp with the weekend pass vinyl comp package, please email me at email@example.com so we can make sure your order is forwarded to them so they can mail it to you.
Above all, trust me. We’re on to something.
If this all seems out of left field that is because I do my best take care of bands, fans, and everyone in between.
If you have any ideas to make Bramble Jam IV better please, feel free to always email me your ideas at any time.
If you had any problems regarding Bramble Jam III, please let me know so I can immediately solve them and move forward.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for coming, listening to new bands and your understanding in general.
Be ready for exciting things to come from the Bramble Jam Music Festival, and The Most Booking Agency.
Next year is going to be really special, and that’s all we’ll say for now!

Anonymous said: how does one go about organizing and booking a music festival or a show? serious question.
I get this question a lot, and this is my answer every time:
Start booking small shows with your friends/your friends bands, and start taking bigger steps with those shows.
Start booking touring bands, start putting money into tour packages, look at venues that would be perfect for a certain crowd, and think of really cool ideas that you think ticket buyers would love to be a part of it.
It’s a learning process! And you can only better yourself from it :)
